CONTRACT
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Friends and Family Cookbook Publishers, hereinafter referred to as the Company, agrees to print personalized cookbooks to the specifications listed on the Cookbook Order Form, and also to provide a copy of the corresponding Microsoft Word file. The purchaser, hereinafter referred to as the Customer, agrees to furnish all recipes and other items of specific and personalized nature to be published in the Customer's book.
The Company assumes responsibility for scheduling and production of the cookbooks. The Company guarantees delivery of the finished books on date promised to the customer as long as all recipes and photos are received on date promised by the customer
COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
The Customer warrants that releases have been obtained to reproduce any and all copyrighted materials submitted for reproduction.
SHIPPING
The customer agrees to pay shipping costs. Books are shipped US Media Mail or UPS.
CORRECTIONS
The Company will take very special care in the production of the cookbooks. Should the customer order additional books, any corrections will be made free of charge in the subsequent printings. It is the Company's sincere belief that any errors will be minimal. Mistakes made by the customer will also be corrected free of charge in subsequent printings.
PAYMENT
The Customer must pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 at the time the order is placed. One half of the remaining balance must be paid when the recipes and photos are delivered to the Company. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the delivery of the finished cookbooks. (Exception: If books are purchased by an organization, 1/2 of balance is due upon receipt of books and remainder due within 30 days.) All orders must be paid by check or money order.
CANCELLATION
Upon signature of the Cookbook Order Form and receipt of recipes, this contract is in effect and binding. If Customer cancels, they will be responsible for any costs incurred by the Company for production time and/or materials invested in the order.
I have read the above and hereby authorize the Company to compile and print a cookbook in the quantity and specifications as stated on this Cookbook Order Form. I understand fully the terms and conditions, and by signing this contract agree to be responsible for prompt payment within the specified time.
